Yes, a very nice guest house only a very short distance from train station and bus stops where all buses go. It took about 20 minutes to walk down to Bowness. There are 3 pub/ bars that less than a minute walk from the guest house. Right opposite is The Laplighters restaurant which while not cheap is well checking out.
I had very nice breakfast on 3 out 4 days I was there both Michelle and Christopher both very friendly i would definitely recommend it.

The guesthouse owners are lovely people who clearly care about the guests. The rooms were very comfortable. Would stay there again!

The room wasn't has small as i thought as we booked the small room, and it has an ensuite. plenty of brewing facilities, and it gets restocked, which we thought was great. location brilliant. we got train in, left car at home. house was 2 minutes from station. plenty of bar and shops. bus terminal is at the train station which i thought was brilliant too. buses went Windermere, ambleside, Bowness, coniston, keswick, Gramere, penrith and many more places. great weekend, couldn't fault the property and owners were great with booking, and thorough with information. definitely would stay at property again.

A small room but perfect for what we needed and clean. Comfy bed and absolutely outstanding customer service.
Close to the station and check in was easy, just remember to email the property for details about check in before your stay.
Will recommend and stay again. Thanks for everything!!!
